Navi Mumbai boasts its first classified five star hotel :
Hotel Tunga Regency was recently rated as the first classified five star hotel in Navi Mumbai. Established in the year 2007 and located at Vashi, Navi Mumbai; Hotel Tunga Regency has been awarded the five star classification for a period of five years by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
Speaking exclusively to Hospitality Biz Sunil Chopra, General Manager, Hotel Tunga Regency, Navi Mumbai says, “We are proud to receive this honour. The 92 room hotel has four categories of rooms - Classic, Eleganza, Club Prive and Peluche Suites. The hotel also has a room dedicated to handicapped guests and five rooms exclusively for lady travellers. It houses three restaurants (Something's Fishy, Crimson and Café Vihar) and a 24x7 coffee shop. The property also offers three banquet halls (The Primrose Hall, The Ebony Hall and Biz Lounge) and Club Satva which provides a fitness centre, beauty parlour and Kerala ayurveda spa.
